I haven’t blogged in a while because I’ve recently moved… into a fixer upper!  I can’t wait to share my before, during and after pictures with you!  So far, we’ve mostly focused on fixing the stucco issues, taking down walls, replacing all the interior flooring and we are currently replacing the windows.

Here is a before and after of the stucco repair and repainting. The new windows have also begun to be installed on the first floor and new white trim will soon follow! Next project is to replace the front door!

This was the old entryway where guests were greeted with white tile, a fully carpeted stairway and a large gold chandelier.  We replaced the floors and stairway with wide plank white oak and got a new light fixture!  Really can’t wait to replace this front door…

The old living room was closed off to the kitchen.  Here we opened up that wall and also the row of closets in the dining room to make it larger.  New wood floors were installed to replace the dated white carpeting.

I can’t wait to share more of our progress in the weeks to come!  In the meantime, please feel free to share your own renovation tips and photos!
